Agreement

By using Sirat, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What this app is

Sirat is a free companion app for prayer times, Qibla direction, Qur'an reading, hadith, duas, and a Zakat calculator. It's a personal tool, not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar or your local mosque.

Religious content is provided as a guide, not a ruling

Prayer times are calculated using the calculation method you choose and may differ from your local mosque's schedule. Qur'an translations, tafsir, and hadith are provided by the third-party sources listed under Data Sources and may contain translation or transcription errors — always cross-reference an authoritative source for anything you rely on religiously. Zakat calculator results are estimates based on the standard and figures you enter — consult a qualified scholar to confirm your actual obligation.

Third-party content

Qur'an text and translations, hadith collections, and dua content are sourced from the providers listed under Data Sources and are not authored by us; we display them as provided by those sources.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on its prayer times, religious content, or Zakat calculations.

In-app purchases

"Remove Ads" is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play under Google's own terms. Refunds are handled by Google Play, not by us.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time; continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the changes.
